The passing of Charles Krekelberg of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, born in Saint James, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 11, 2025 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry and Kathryn Mary Krekelberg (Menz); his brothers, Dick Krekelberg, Jerry Krekelberg and Ken Krekelberg; and his in-laws, Ann Krekelberg, Jim Klein, Tom Schlosser and Kathy Schlosser.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Krekelberg; his children, Chuck Krekelberg, Joy Bauman (Kent) and Bill Krekelberg (Marielle Isenberg); his grandchildren, Marcy Krekelberg, Avery Bauman, Carter Bauman, Rylie Bauman, Violet Isenberg and Jack Krekelberg; his siblings, Gene Krekelberg (Marlene), Hank Krekelberg, Donnie Krekelberg (Bonnie), Mary Klein and Pat Greenwood (Wayne); and his in-laws, Bunny Krekelberg, Sandy Krekelberg, Lynne Krekelberg, Jean Peterson (Denny), Mike Schlosser (Shawn Crytser), Mary Schlosser (Stu Hazel) and Joe Schlosser. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and the most wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Larson Funeral and Cremation Service (12 5th Ave NE, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Leonard Catholic Church (36 1st Ave NE, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572).
