He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Nettestad (Huseby) and Chester Sr. Nettestad (Shirley Nettestad); his in-laws, Barney, Evelyn Bowers and Joseph Dunham; and his brother-in-law Les Langseth.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Nettestad (Bowers); his daughters, Kristin Grommesh (David) and Shonda Chwialkowski (Adam); his grandchildren, Gavin, Collin Grommesh, AJ and Hope Chwialkowski; his siblings, Charles Nettestad (Joanne), Michael Nettestad (Sheri) and Kathie Nettestad; and his sister-in-law Gerry Langseth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
