He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lubitz and Alma Lubitz (Hoffman); his stepmother Verna Lubitz; his grandson Nicholas Johnson; his son-in-law Eugene Johnson; his parents-in-law, Howard and Anna Janke; and his siblings-in-law, Charolette Janke, Joan Ehlers, Warren and Calvin Janke.
He is survived by: his wife Roslyn Janke; his daughters, Sherry Quittschreiber (Arlan) and Pam Johnson; his grandchildren, Alecia Giesler (Brad), Sarah Quittschreiber, Amanda Thomas (Cole), Jordan Quittschreiber, Nathan Johnson and Kayla Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Brendon, Zachary and Trenton Giesler.
