He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Wegscheid and Clara Wegscheid (Langer); his former wife Joyce Koplin; and his sisters, Virginia and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wokasch-Cole; his children, Mitch Wegscheid (Peggy), Shelly Dreyer (Dan) and Kim Jacques (Mike); his grandchildren, Staci Dreyer (Adam Larson), Brady Wegscheid, Eric Dreyer (Brenna Zepper) and Tasha Wegscheid (James Ruben); and his siblings, Evelyn Vorderbruggen (Nestor), Dorothy Adams (Dave), Donna Wegscheid, Erv Wegscheid, Dave Wegscheid (Rita), Tom Wegscheid (Georgette) and Richard Wegscheid (Brenda).
LeRoy gave countless hours of his time to the American Cancer Society through the Relay for Life as a Captain of the St. Lawrence Saints.
