She was predeceased by : her parents, Hubert Virnig and Julia Virnig; her husbands, Wilfred Koblika and John Walz; her grandson Jeremy Kobilka; her stepdaughter Lois Stephens; and her sisters, Esther Schlegel, Florence Nagel, Cora Gruber and Mildred Hoffman.

She is survived by : her children, Carol Wedin (Ron) of Hackensack, JoAnne Smude (John) of Pierz, Mary Fischer (Dennis) of Pierz, Mark Kobilka (Lyn) of Maple Plain and Janel Lamp-Wiese (Jamie) of St. Cloud. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
