She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Shatava and Bessie Shatava (Kudej); her husband Leonard Kazda; her son Charles Kazda; her siblings, Frances Peterson, Mary Bever, Joseph Shatava, Charles Shatava, Rose Shatava, Henry Shatava, Frank Shatava (Francis), Agnes Matkovich, Gust Shatava (Augustine) and Mildred Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Mildred Kubesh and Agnes Bennett.

She is survived by : her children, Jacquelyn Bush (Jaci), Janet Deprimo, Kathryn Churchill and Gary Kazda. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A rosary was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (555 8th St SW, Pine City, MN 55063). Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (555 8th St SW, Pine City, MN 55063).
