It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Wees of Pine Island, Minnesota, born in Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald D. Wees and Alyce M. Wees. He is survived by : his wife Rebecca "Becky" Lee Jasperson Wees; his sons, Matthew (Carrie) of Apple Valley, MN, Christopher (Kimberly) of Minnetonka, Andrew (Kristy) of Waconia and Joshua (Melanie) of Rochester, MN; his sister Bonnie Oelkers (Mike); his half-brother Mike Wees (Kari); his brother-in-law Jeff Jasperson (Kathy); and his father-in-law Roland Shanks. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Due to COVID, there will be limited seating and the ceremony will be live streamed.

Memorial donations may be made in Gary's name to St. Paul Lutheran, Mayo Hospice, or Pine Haven.
