It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley E. Kennedy (Pine Island, Minnesota), born in Zumbrota, Minnesota, who passed away on April 11, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Francis E. Kennedy; her parents, Edwin Friese and Gladys Friese; her brothers, Otto Friese and Donald Friese; her sons-in-law, Larry Zimmerman, Arnold Zimmerman and Russ Rew; her siblings-in-law, Jim Sahr, Gerald Pennington, Gene Hermann and Jerene Friese; and her nephew Scott Hermann.
She is survived by : her children, Trudi Kennedy (Karyl), Theresa Zimmerman, Troy Kennedy (Dawn), Tammy Rew and Todd Kennedy (Michelle); her grandchildren, Kevin Kennedy (Bobbi Jo), Craig Kennedy, Courtney McGowan (Steve), Kelly Jo Zimmerman, David Zimmerman (Kathy), Donna Johnson (John), Brad Kennedy (Katie), Laura DeWees (Matt), Jessica Carrillo (Jose), Zach Kennedy and Gavin Kennedy; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Walker, Kylie, Bridget, Bailey Kennedy, Connor, Cooper, Owen McGowan, Nikki Zimmerman, Levi Zimmerman, Jenna Johnson, Ellie Godtland, Gunner Kennedy, Clara Kennedy, Ryan DeWees, Milo DeWees, Maria Garcia and Jose Gutierrez; her siblings, Dorothy Hermann and Duane Friese; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Sahr, Mary Jo Pennington and Beverly Friese. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
