He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Heckt and Velva Heckt (Matthieson); his son Jay; and his brother Neil Heckt. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Patricia Bogner of Jasper; his children, Janet Kueny (John) of Sioux City, Jackie Steele (David) of Sioux City and David Heckt of Denver, Colorado; and his sister-in-law Kay Heckt of Auburn, Washington.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
