Rose Beck Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Beck of Luverne, Minnesota, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus DeZeeuw and Anna DeZeeuw (Berkenpas); her husband Darrell Beck; her children, Jeffrey Beck and Julie Beck; her granddaughter Angela Ruth Williams; her great grandchild Tatum Drews; and her siblings, Paul, Rudy, Bernard, Jake, Sidney, Anthony, Kenneth, John DeZeeuw, Mary Petersen, Melba Petersen, Violet Brinkman and Sylvia Slieter.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Kowalczyk of Pipestone, Doug Beck of St. Louis Park and Kris Schiager of Pipestone; her grandchildren, Angie Von Bosch (Adam) of Lincoln, Tony Drews of Omaha, Vanessa Drews of Calmar, Jessica Nygaard of Pipestone, Jared Nygaard of Scottsdale and Jacey Schiager of Rochester, Minnesota; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Zachary, Aiden Von Bosch, Peyton Drews and Caleb Drews; her sister Ardis Nielsen (Roger) of Springfield, Minnesota; her sisters-in-law, Jean DeZeeuw, Henreitta DeZeeuw, Carol DeZeeuw and Lulu Molohon; and her extended family, Donovon Keeney, Alonso Baez, Kennedy Lambert, Jason Klimavicz and Curtis Nygaard.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hartquist Funeral Home - Pipestone Chapel (320 2nd Ave SW, Pipestone, MN 56164). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Holland Cemetery (1714 140th Ave, Holland, MN 56139).
