Betty Halverson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Halverson of Preston, Minnesota, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Tlougan and Marian Tlougan (Huneke); her siblings, Rose Moen, Leona Magneson (James), Eleanor Bultman and Allan Tlougan; her brother-in-law Robert Benike; her nephews, Ricky Allemani, Mark Greenwood and Bobby Benike; her niece Karen Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Marian Halverson, Sigrid Caniff (Halverson) and Pal.

She is survived by : her former life partner Merrill Pickett; her stepson Ken; her husband Steve Halverson; her children, Lisa Pickett (Don Busse) of Preston, Kenneth Pickett (Gretchen) and Karen Bramble of Tularosa, NM; her stepson Brian Halverson (Karin); her grandchildren, Mckenna Pickett of Stewartville, Brady Pickett of Stewartville, Tyler Bramble of Tularosa, NM and Vivian Bramble of Tularosa, NM; her stepgranddaughter Jayleen Halverson; her sisters, Mary Benike of Rochester and Rae Ann Denker of Rochester; her brother-in-law Sam Halverson (Karen) of Goose Creeek, SC; and her close friend Bandit. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and of course her dog.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the United Methodist Church of Preston at 212 St Anthony St N Preston, MN 55965.
