It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest O. Mathison (Princeton, Minnesota), who passed away on August 29, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Magnus Mathison and Lena Mathison (Stromland); and his grandsons, Matthew Mathison and Adam Staples. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Ward; and his children, Donald Mathison (Billie Jean) of Aitkin, Lois Hansen (Rick) of Appleton, Lee Mathison (Barb) of Milaca, Jean Davids (Leo) of Big Lake, Joan Spiczka (Mark) of Foley, Diane Staples (Kelly) of Ham Lake and Duane Mathison (Laura) of Princeton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
