He is survived by: his wife Shirley; and his daughters, Grant Mitchell (Penny) of Ramsey, Debra Comstock (Glenn) of St. Francis, Patricia Koosmann (Arden) of Blaine and Richard Mitchell (Laurie) of Cambridge. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
