She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hagen and Anna Virginia Hagen (Garberg); her stepson Derek Merwin; and her sisters, Reverend Nanette Hagen-Hinck and Joyce Hagen.
She is survived by: her husband Dan Merwin of Aitkin, MN; her daughters, Jocelyn Wiedewitsch (Larry) of Princeton, MN and June Heather Carver (Jamie) of Princeton, MN; her stepdaughter Danica Lowry (Tom) of Eau Claire, WI; her grandchildren, Laura Wiedewitsch (Larry Rice) of Verndale, MN, Joel Wiedewitsch (Samantha Kern), Paul Greenwood (Andrea), Jaiden Scheel (Drew) of Fargo, ND, Grace Pagel (Austin) of Grand Rapids, MN, Ruby Greenwood (Will Higgins) of Delano, MN, Keaton, Anderson Lowry of Eau Claire, WI and Hannah (Andrew); her great grandchildren, River, Marlee Pagel, Gemma Groth, Harlow Greenwood and Aspen Scheel; and her siblings, Kristina Korsmo of Plymouth, MN, Pamela Gudmundson (Curtis) of Wayzata, MN, Lynn Erie (Steve), Phyllis Hagen (Jim Fischer) of Crookston, MN and Paul Hagen (Julie) of Dayton, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heart and Soul Chapel (8775 Hwy 95 NW, Princeton, MN 55371). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
