He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Patrick Simpkins (Brenda), Joannie Scherer (Tom), Ann Page (Mark), Michael Simpkins (Homayra Hosseini) and Mary Helget (Darrin); his grandchildren, Jessica (Brendon), Alan, Erika (Jason), Molly, Abby, Catie (Brian), Jen, Sarah, Jennifer, Natalie, Nicholas, David, Thomas, Greg, Jack, Kevin, Jonathan, Josiah, Hope and Leah; his daughter-in-law Alice Plechaty (Roger); his brother Jerry Simpkins; his son David Simpkins; his parents, Dennis Simpkins and Irene Simpkins (Casselius); his stepmother Julia Simpkins; his sister Lois Duede (Fred); and his sister-in-law Donna Simpkins.
