It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Joe Kaasa of Puposky, Minnesota, born in Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Arlak Kaasa and Helen Kaasa (Sweney); his sister Kathy; and his uncle Art. He is survived by : his children, Cheryl "Cheri" Greenwaldt (Jesse) of Bertha and Eric Koch (Kati) of Circle Pines; his grandchildren, Callie, Connor Greenwaldt, Colton and Gemma Koch; and his siblings, Sid Kaasa of Montana, Ginger Johnson (Steven), Arlen "Pete" Kaasa (Cindy), Gordon Kaasa (Donna "Doon") of Puposky and Ivan Kaasa (Pam) of Puposky. He is also survived by 12 nephews and nieces.
