It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Ann Brunkow (Red Wing, Minnesota), who passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sylvester and Inez Sylvester (Burnette); her husband Grover "Bud" Brunkow; her daughter Marilyn Hanson; and her sister Doris Christianson.
She is survived by: her former husband Vernon Irish; her children, Cathy Schumacher (Don) of Red Wing, Starr Hanson (Frank) of Red Wing, Candi Budish (Peter) of Andover, Renee Hugo (Tony) of Marinette and Duane Brunkow of Richmond, Minnesota; and her siblings, James Sylvester (Marcy) of Missoula, Montana, Mickey Peterson (Bill) of Red Wing and Joan Woolrage (Jim) of Racine. She is also survived by 3 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
