He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Harms and Bertha Harms (Munkelwitz); his wife Donna; and his siblings, Dick, Arthur Jr., Verne and Helen Harms.

He is survived by: his children, Gretchen Anderson (David) of Red Wing, Greg Harms of Brainerd and Steve Harms (Sheri) of Gilbert; and his grandchildren, Nick (Katie), Brooke, Samantha Harms, Ingrid and Kristen Anderson.
