He is survived by: his wife Marlene Voth; and his children, Cynthia Degener, Gina Hernlem and Brad Hernlem (Birgita Jean). He is also survived by four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
