He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hawkenson and Evelyn Hawkenson (Hall); his wife Marlene Elander; and his brother Quinten Hawkenson. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Koester (Tom) of Red Wing, Kathie Buck (Mike) of Topak, Ariz, Jeff Hawkenson (Pam) of Red Wing and Jim Hawkenson of Red Wing; and his grandchildren, Tami Bryant (Charley) of Red Wing, Michele Tollefson (Chris) of Rosemount, Jason Stinson (Shawna) of Minneapolis, Joshua Stinson of Washington, Eric Hawkenson (Maggie) of Red Wing and Jennifer Jacobson (Nick) of Red Wing. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
