He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine; his granddaughter Theresa Johnson; his great grandchildren, Kelly Johnson and Damian Bostrom; his great great grandchildren, Zach and Taylor Johnson; and his son-in-law Dan Grant.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Grant of Winona, Joyce Starks (Larry) of Cumberland, Richard Johnson (Wanda) of Red Wing and Susan Florin (Jack) of Minnesota City; his sister Betty Jensen (Marlee) of Necedah, Wisc.; and his close friend Rita Hampton of Spring Valley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
