He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Hammes and Ida Hammes (Coble); and his wife Judy Hammes. He is survived by : his children, Andy of Red Wing and Karen Perkins (Zac) of Osseo; his grandchildren, Gabe and Olivia; his siblings, Joe Hammes (JoAnn) of Isle, MN, Linda Petitpierre (Eric) of Foster, VA and Greg Hammes of Fridley; and his pets, Bailey and Muffin.
