He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Norman and Marianne Erdmann; and his siblings, Robert and Judith (Dougherty). He is survived by: his wife Gale Holst; his children, James (Libby) and Kathryn (Chip); his grandchildren, Madison and Aidan; and his nephew Sean Dougherty (Jamie).
