She was predeceased by: her husband Colin; her sister Barb Root; and her nephew Nathan Root. She is survived by: her children, Mark Gunnerson (Michelle) of Duluth, MN, Gayle Gunnerson of Sauk Rapids, MN, Chad Gunnerson of Remer, MN and Lane Gunnerson (Robyn) of Cohasset, MN; her granddaughters, Megan Gunnerson and Ella Gunnerson; and her brother Tom Laitinen (Helen) of Decorah, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
