Douglas left this world on May 30, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Vevea and Juanita Vevea; his brother Russell; and his sister-in-law Judy Vevea. He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce Burt (John) and Mark Vevea (Debra); his nieces, Renee Vevea, Rachel Taylor (Shane), Angela Burt and Alison Reall (Jonathan); his nephew Nathan Vevea (Courtney); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maggie Taylor, Taylor Vevea, Gemma Reall, Alessia Reall, Talia Reall, Cooper Johnson, NJ Vevea, Lawrence Reall and William Reall.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of St. Margaret Mary (2323 Zenith Ave N, Golden Valley, MN 55422).
