He was predeceased by : his parents, Esteban Escalona and Maria Escalona; and his siblings, Esteban, Jorge, Rolando, Luz and Isabel.
He is survived by : his son Carlos; his siblings, Norma and Everton; and his wife Maria Eladia Gonzalez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimers Association, STEP, or other local food banks.
