She is survived by: her husband Keane Bonath; her sons, Tanner Spears (Holly) and Tyler Spears; her stepsons, Dane Bonath (Chelsey), Matt Bonath (Ashley) and Joe Bonath (Kimberlee); her granddaughters, Caroline and Elizabeth Spears; her stepsons, Kiera, Aria Bonath, Luciano and Lorenzo Bonath; her brothers, Tracy and Tony; her sisters-in-law, Gail Bonath and Shawn Carlson; her niece Lucy Gates; her great-nieces, Bailey and Rachel Gates; her cousins, Candy Brigman, Pam Ledbetter, L. Dollar and Anne Turner; and her friend Cindy Barker Mash of Cleburne, Texas..

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bonath Family Endowed Scholarship Fund at De La Salle High School in Minneapolis, or the Minneapolis branch of the Jeremiah Program.
