He was predeceased by: his parents, William Simpson and Alice Simpson (Hartley); his brother Robert; and his siblings-in-law, Curt and Arlene Fingerson (Mead).
He is survived by: his former wife Marjorie Mead; his wife Marge; his sons, Tim Simpson (Lisa) of Chatfield and Jeff Simpson (Cheryl) of Pine Island; his grandchildren, Andrew Simpson (Megan), Tyler Simpson, Sarah Simpson (Gary Welch), Mary Shafer (Nathan), Anne, Jamie and Ross Simpson; and his great grandchildren, Henry, Charlie, Adeline Simpson and Gabriel Shafer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, masks are required and there will not be a reception following the church service.
