She was predeceased by: her parents, Florent Duchene and Dorothy Duchene (Meyer); her aunt Gladys Meyer; her brother Walter Duchene (Barb); and her sister-in-law Kay Duchene.

She is survived by: her children, Bobby Giles, Jody Hemmingson (Jeremy) and James Giles Sr. (Sytha); her grandchildren, Brandon Hemmingson (Courtney), Elizabeth Hemmingson and James Giles Jr.; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Ian and Rosabella Hemmingson; and her brother Jerry Duchene. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
