It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monsignor James Ambrose McCauley (Rochester, Minnesota), who passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

During COVID-19, he celebrated mass outside on his deck overlooking the Mississippi River.

His request is that memorials be given to St. Peter's School, the Priest's Retirement Fund and the IHM Seminary in Winona.
