She was predeceased by : her parents, Santos Cervantes and Victoria Cervantes; her siblings, Irene Gatlin and Todd; her sisters-in-law, Sandra Cervantes and Jackie Cervantes; and her sons, Herbie and Jimmy Smith.

She is survived by : her husband Ken Davis; her sons, Sam Davis (Victoria) and Bobby Davis (Litded); her stepdaughter Janette Davis-Proctor (Les); her grandchildren, Alexander Davis (Sarah), Maximus, Theodore Davis, Joshua (Carmen), Kayla and Kira Cordell; and her pets, Tex and Whiskers.
