He is survived by: his wife Betty Lamon; his children, Dan Thomson, Jr. (Kathy) of Fargo, Terri Giere (Brian) of Hawley and Cindy Amann (Kelly) of Hawley; his grandchildren, Aaron, Holly, Ryan, Justin, Tylor, Jessica, Kyla, Erica and Paige; and his siblings, Betty Jean Lapena of Las Vegas, Nancy Haile of Las Vegas, Mary Ann Thomson of Las Vegas, Susan Kasin of Hawley, Barb Nord of Hawley and Kenny Thomson. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
