With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Ann Illies of Saint Michael, Minnesota, born in Buffalo, Minnesota, who passed away on June 8, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Norbert Goeb and Anita Goeb (Walesch); her husband Eugene Illies; and her siblings, Michael Goeb and Gwen Jansen.

She is survived by : her children, Linda M. Schultz (Howard), Deborah A. Buhl (Thomas), Michael J. Illies (Karen) and Sandra J. Timmerman (Scott); her grandchildren, Samantha Buhl, Carsten Timmerman, Jacob Illies and Jason Illies; and her siblings, Peter Goeb, Fran Kehn, Ellen Bethke and Anne Goeb. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Diabetes Association or to The Alzheimer's Association.
