He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Rosentreter and Erna Rosentreter (Zitzow); his wife Lois Benke; and his siblings, Harry, Alvin, Melvin, Adaline, Gertrude, Dorothy, Betty and Violet.
He is survived by: his children, Perry Rosentreter (Kathleen), Shelley Karg (Donovan), Julie Fisher (John) and Doug Rosentreter (Donna); and his sister-in-law Susan Gerds. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Lindstrom (13025 Newell Ave, Lindstrom, MN 55045). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
