He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Olsen (Tjernagel) and Christian Olsen; his sister Constance; and his parents-in-law, Emery and Helen Kyrklund.
He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Kyrklund; his children, Solveig Langr (John) and Erik Olsen (Sarah); his grandchildren, Antonia Langr, Helena Langr, Ruby Langr and Ethan Olsen; and his brother James Olsen (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to Bethany Lutheran College or Norseland Lutheran Church.
