She was predeceased by : her parents, Roman C. Kulzer and Adlinde Kulzer (Terhaar); her husband Robert Bromenshenkel; and her son Walter. She is survived by : her children, Susan Fix (Ken) of New Ulm, Geralyn "Geri" Nienaber (Jeff) of Sauk Centre, Norbert Bromenshenkel (Maggie) of Horace and Herbert Bromenshenkel (Jana) of Bemidji; her daughter-in-law Theresa Bromenshenkel of Rochester; and her siblings, Janet Kulzer, Roman Kulzer (Mary) and Marina Blackwood (George). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
