It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Barthel of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, born in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Barthel and Elfrieda Barthel (Sis); his brother James; and his niece Joy Rooney. He is survived by: his siblings, Anita Rooney (Harold) of Sauk Rapids, Alvin Barthel (Carol) of Little Falls, Jerry Barthel (Elizabeth), Vernon Barthel (Elizabeth) of Sauk Rapids, Judy Rolfzen (Mike) of Albany and Leon Barthel (Wendi) of Sauk Rapids. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
