She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lindeborg and Margaret Lindeborg (Anderson); her husband Duane Birkeland; and her brother Robert Lindeborg (Loretta). She is survived by: her daughter Angela Varichak (Michael) of Sauk Rapids; her sibling's children, David Lindeborg (Sylvia) of Shoreview, Sandy Evanson (Tim) of Blaine and Diane Benstead (Thomas) of Sun City, AZ; her close friend June Hendrickson of Hibbing; and her pets, Paco, Yumi, Izzy and Milo. She is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.
