She was predeceased by: her husbands, Alvin Lamont Crawford and George Tinus Schaefer; her daughter Virginia Ryan; her brother John Smith; and her granddaughter Shannon Riker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Jenkins (Mark) and Jane McCall (Chuck); and her stepchildren, George Schaefer (Nina), Douglas Schaefer (Peggy) and Sharon Webb (Frank). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Jane McCall with proceeds going towards funding a clean water well in a third world country in memory of Doris.
