He is survived by : his parents, Ronald James and Marilyn James; his close friend Beverly Hansen; his son Joshua Gaffaney; his grandchildren, Simon and Evelyn; his daughter Laura Gaffaney; his siblings, Renee Blechinger (Guy), Valorie Schatzlien and Keith James; and also, Richard Schmidt (Kara), Anthony, Zachary, Elizabeth, Adam Schmidt (Ceanna), Olivia, Amelie, Crystal Zemlin (Robert), Jack, Jesse Hansen (Michelle), Hailey, Maya, Jeff Profrock (Jamie), Tyler, Lucas and Carter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN.
