He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonny and Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Karla; his daughters, Madison, Alyssa and Taylor Rice; his stepdaughters, Matilyn, Maggie and Emma Vollmer; and his siblings, Dan, Crystal Trawny (Justin), Rachel Beyer (Seth) and Matt (Kari). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Diabetes Association, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or National Multiple Sclerosis.
