She was predeceased by: her parents, Melverne Bonnema and Dianne Bonnema (Gatewood); and her brother Patrick Bonnema. She is survived by: her children, Brandon and Amanda Lieser (Cody Johnson); her siblings, Paula Bonnema, Matthew Bonnema (Gail) and Mark Bonnema (Laura); her siblings' children, Christina, Darrin, Tara, Tanner, Piper, Lainey, Lucas and Jessica; and her close friends, Mary Zehnder and Steve Bolin.
She graduated from nursing school in 1986 and dedicated her career taking care of the elderly and spent the last 12 years caring for those with Alzheimer's with The Estates of Excelsior.
