He was predeceased by: his parents, Clive Kechely and Elizabeth "Betty" Kechely (Meyer); his former wife Cindy (Moldenhauer); his grandson Jacob Kechely; and his brothers-in-law, Roman Hertaus and Gunnar Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Scheu; his children, Tom (Liz), Angela Kechely and Brandie Anderson (Troy); his siblings, Jack, Gary (Patti), Greg (Julie), Jan Hertaus, Patsy Kechely, Suzie Berger (Michael), Katie Ekblad (Jeff), Debra Batson, Jeff (Robin) and Jaime (Deb); and his grandchildren, Jayme Nelson, Nathan Glesmann, Jaden Anderson, Seth Anderson, Chandler Anderson, Karter Sletten, Kiel Sletten and Kaelyn Sletten. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
