It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Gilbertson (Shakopee, Minnesota), born in Michigan, North Dakota, who passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Severt Olavus and Margaret Elizabeth Gilbertson (Hawkins); his siblings, Stanley M. Gilbertson, Clinton O. Gilbertson and June Ann Gilbertson; and his son Richard Gilbertson.
He is survived by: his child Neila K. (Gilbertson); and his brother Lyle J. Gilbertson of Greer, SC. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
