It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Engelkes (Slayton, Minnesota), who passed away on May 11, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Lewis Nelson and Curtis Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Engelkes of Slayton, MN; her grandchildren, Ross Engelkes, Cale, Rylan, Carson Engelkes, Greg, Darren, Briana and Elizabeth Engelkes; her brother Eldon Nelson (Elvera) of Slayton, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Norma Nelson of Wilmont, MN and Sodona Nelson of New Prague, MN.
