She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thaler and Josephine Thaler (Sedlacek); her husband Gunder; and her siblings, Mildred Ella (Rex), Bettie Klaphake (Harold), Wilma Gustaf, Alvin Thaler (Charlotte), Jerome Thaler (Cutz) and Bernard "Tootie" Thaler (Robert Thaler).

She is survived by: her children, Mike (Daryl Johnson), Vikki (Dale Mahon), Rande (Sholi Johnson) and Misse Swanson of Slayton, MN.; her grandchildren, Angie Schumacher (Greg) of Mankato, MN, Nathan Johnson (Angie) of Ruthton, MN, Ashley Mahon of Columbus, OH, Chris Johnson (Kayla) of Avoca, MN, Emmie Lolkus (Brandon) of Slayton, MN, Brycen Johnson (Ashley) of Hadley, MN, Mikie Johnson (Lacey) of Lake Wilson, MN, Lyndsey Johnson (Nick) of Slayton, MN, Jamie Kremer (Dustin) of Sioux Falls, SD, Zac Swanson of Currie, MN, Taylor Swanson (Dustin) of Brewster, MN, Brooke Ryan (Devin) of Ruthton, MN and Eighteen; her sister Maxine Goin of Templeton, CA; and her brother-in-law Francis Gustaf of Slayton, MN..
