She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Merkel (Andrea) of Fairfax and Jeffrey Merkel of Sleepy Eye; her grandchildren, Kyla Edmonds, Colten Merkel, Hazen Merkel and Lukas Merkel; and her siblings, Janet Rucker (Matt) of Comfrey, Bonnie Binger (Robert Feldman) of Ashby, Cindy Montes of Sleepy Eye and Don Binger (Sylvia Kienlen) of New Ulm. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
