Richard Neyers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Neyers of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Neyers and Martha Neyers; his parents-in-law, LeRoy and Marie Reinhart; and his siblings-in-law, Greg Reinhart (Kathy) and Rachel Garding.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Neyers of Sleepy Eye; his children, Michele Neyers of Annapolis, MD, Michael Neyers (Jennie) of Glencoe and Melissa McGrath of Brainerd; his granddaughters, Michaela Neyers and Jenna Neyers of Glencoe; his siblings, Mary Lou Mans (Jerry) of Savage, Joan Hauser of Prior Lake and Tom Neyers of Minneapolis; and his in-laws, Ron, Connie Wendinger of New Ulm and Ralph Garding of Blaine. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Sturm Funeral Home - Sleepy Eye (301 3rd Ave SW, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085). A prayer will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church - Sleepy Eye (636 1st Ave N, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery - Sleepy Eye (602 St Marys St NE, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085).
