She was predeceased by : her parents, John Dietz and Veronica Dietz (Grabinger); her husband Alvin; her sister Lylla Lowinske; her son-in-law Dennis Varva; and her brothers-in-law, Cliff Rasmussen, Leonard Lowinske and Ben Zieske.

She is survived by : her sisters, Shirley Rasmussen of Hector and Marjorie Zieske of St. Peter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
