Carol Ruth Ward Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Ruth Ward of South Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on October 25, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Beaurline and Virginia Beaurline (Ackerman); her husband Jim; her brother Carl Beaurline (Sandy); and her brothers-in-law, George Reid and Floyd Ward (Gloria).
She is survived by: her children, Sue Gravelle (Bruce) and Dan Ward (Joanie); her grandchildren, Trent Ward (Hayley) and Jennifer Gravelle; and her siblings, Paul Beaurline (Nancy) and Diane Reid. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newport Lutheran Church (900 15th St, Newport, MN 55055). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:15 AM and from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Newport Lutheran Church or Mobile Meals of Northern Dakota County or N.W. Alano.
